There are more than 900 churches in Rome. Do not miss St Louis of the French. The Caravaggio paintings representing St Peter and St Matthew are deeply moving.

This morning your private guide take you to the Musei Vaticani (Vatican Museum). You will have direct access to the collection. You will discover among others: Raphael's rooms, the Sixtine Chapel painted by Michelangelo or the magnificent Laocoon.
In the afternoon you will enjoy some free time for shopping. Explore Via condotti, Borgognona or Via del corso and the Gallery Alberto Sordi.
Have a break at Caffe Greco one of the oldes cafes in Rome. It opened in 1760.

Galleria Borghese
This morning you have a booking at the Galleria Borghese. The museum is located in the northern part of Rome in the Villa Borghese park. You will have a lovely walk there. The gallery used to be the residence of Cardinal Scipion Borghese.
The collection is exceptional. You will discover some Caravaggio's paintings and Bernini's sculptures. You will be seduced by the beauty of Pauline Borghese (Napoleon Bonaparte's sister) represented by Italian sculptor Antonio Canova.
Did you know that all the basilicas in the world are minor Basilicas? There are 4 major Basilicas. All of them are located in Rome. St Peters, St John the Lateran, St Mary major and St Paul outside the walls. You will have time this afternoon to explore one of them.

Palermo Sicily
This morning it will be time to say "Arrivederci Roma" (Good bye Rome). Private tranfer by Mercedes car with driver to Rome airport. Flight to Palermo with Alitalia (1 hour and 10 minutes).
Upon arrival in Palermo Sicily private transfer to your 5 star hotel. You will enjoy your suite with splendid view over the marina.
In the afternoon with your private guid eyou will discover some of Palermo's treasures: Cathedral, Palace of the Normans, Teatro Massimo...

Day : 8
Cefalu
This morning you will enjoy a private excursion to Cefalu. It is a charming Sicilian village on the coast. Do not miss the Cathedral. It houses fantastic mosaics representing Jesus Pancrator.
You will be back in Palermo for lunch.
You will have time to finish your discovery of Palermo. You cannot leave Palermo without visiting the Oratorio of San Lorenzo and Del Rosario. You will be stunned by the stucco work by the local master Giacomo Serpotta.
