Departure from Paris Charles de Gaulle. You will be escorted during the whole trip by a professional Tour Manager. Arrival at Lima airport (Jorge Chavez). You will be greeted by your local guide and private transfer to your hotel. Agustin Exclusive or similar.

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning transfer to the heart of Lima. You will enjoy the famous San Martin square and of course the Plaza Mayor. That is where the Conquistador Francisco Pizzaro founded the city in 1535. Originally Lima was called the "City of the kings". You will appreciate the colonial architecture. Around the Plaza Mayor, you will be see the Government palace, the City Hall, the Cathedral and the Archbishop's palace. You will visit also the St Francis monastery built in the XVIIth century.
Lunch included in a local restaurant
In the afternoon you will enjoy some free time to visit Lima at your own pace and have your own experience.
AREQUIPA
Day : 3
AREQUIPA
Breakfast at the hotel then transfer to Lima international airport. Flight to Arequipa.
Upon arrival in Arrequipa you will meet your local tour guide. Transfer to Hotel Posada del Monasterio (or similar).
Lunch included in city center.
In the afternoon you will discover the Yanahuara square. From there your will have a fantastic view on the Misti volcano. You will enjoy also the local market: San Camilo. Visit the convent of Santa Catalina. A city in the city occupied by nuns during 400 years. Return to the hotel.
Dinner on your own.
COLCA CANYON - CHIVAY - YANQUE

Breakfast at the hotel.
Excursion to the Colca canyon. On the way to Chivay you will stop in the Pampas Canahuas reserve. This place is located 3,000 meters above sea level. You will see there local animals. Then you will ascent up to the Mirador of the volcanos (altitude 4,910 meters)
Lunch included in Chivay.
In the afternoon you will proceed to Yanque village. You will stay at the charming Colca Lodge hotel (or similar). Enjoy the local spring waters.

Breakfast at the hotel.
Early transfer to the Condors cross to observe the condors flying. You will be amazed by these noble animals and the picturesque landscape. Lunch included in Chivay.
Arrival in Arrequipa in the afternoon. Free time.

Private transfer to Arequipa international airport. Flight to Cusco.
Upon arrival you will be meeting your local guide. Transfer to the hotel to drop your bags. Then start discovering Cusco on foot. You will visit the Parade square, the Cathedral and Korikancha site.
Lunch included in a traditional restaurant.
Afternoon dedicated to Incas sites: Tambomachay, Puka Pukara, Q'engo and Saqsaywamam.

CHINCHERO - MORAY - MARAS - URUBAMBA

Breakfast at the hotel.
Excursion in the sacred valley of the Incas. You will visit Chinchera. An authentic village specialized in textile. In Moray you will discover a very special site used as an agricultural laboratory. You will discover also the salines at Maras.
Lunch included in Urubamba.
In the afternoon visit the archeological site of Ollantaytambo. It was called "the Fortress" by the Spanish settlers. It is the last defensive point before the Machu Picchu.
Overnight at Hacienda Valle hotel (or similar).
Dinner at the hotel.
URUBAMBA - SANTA TERESA PLAYA - AGUAS CALIENTES
Day : 8
URUBAMBA - SANTA TERESA PLAYA - AGUAS CALIENTES
4 am departure to the village of Lucmabamba where you will start your trek (10 am).
During the trek you will see fantastic vegetation: coffee treens, banana trees, coca leaves, mango, ... After reaching the hightest point of the trek you will have an amazing view on the Machu Picchu. Picnic lunch included.
In the afternoon you will walk down to Hidroelectrica.
4.35 pm Train ride to Aguas Calientes. 16 heures 35 : Départ en à bord du train Perurail no 22 qui vous emmènera à travers la vallée jusqu’au village d’Aguas Calientes.
5.50 pm Arrival in Aguas Calientes. Transfer to the hotel. Hotel Santuario (or similar). Dinner on your own.
AGUAS CALIENTES - MACHU PICCHU - CUSCO

6.30 am. Ride by minibus to the archeological site of Machu Picchu. (20 minutes ride).
With your private guide you will discover the Machu Picchu. One of the greatest marvels in the world. You will learn more about the site and also the Inca people & culture.
Lunch included in Aguas Calientes.
In the afternoon train ride to Ollantaytambo. Then transfer to Cusco by private coach. Dinner on your own. Night in Cusco. Hotel Eco inn (or similar). 16 heures 36 : Départ avec le train Inca Rail 45 à destination du village d’Ollantaytambo.
CUSCO - PUERTO MALDONADO
Day : 10
CUSCO - PUERTO MALDONADO

Transfer to the international airport of Cusco. Flight to Puerto Maldonado.
Upon arrival you will be transfered by boat to Corto Maltes. 10 heures 45 : Arrivée à l’aéroport de Puerto Maldonado, accueil et transfert au port du lodge pour prendre votre bateau qui vous emmènera à Corto Maltes. Please note that you cannot bring big suitcases on the boat. Carry on bag will have to be prepared. Big luggage will be left in a safe location at the port.
Upon arrival at Corto Maltes Amazonia you will enjoy a cocktail. Then you will settle in your bungalow.
Lunch included at your Eco lodge.
Afternoon you will have time to relax at the lodge or take advantage of the pool. You will also have an introduction tour in the Amazonian forest. You will see medicinal plants, tropical plants and birds, butterflies and other animals.
Before dinner you will have the possibility to participate at a "safari caimans" on a boat looking for white caïmans along the Amazon river.

7 am. Transfer to Puerto Maldonado by boat and then by coach to the international airport. Flight to Cusco.
Arrival at Cusco airport where you will be picked up by your local guide. Transfer to the school "Ninos de los Apus".

7 am. Transfer to Cusco train station to embark the famous Andean Explorer. Departure 8 am to Puno. You will love this journey crossing the Andes. The highest peak during the journey will be the Raya pass (4335 meter high).

This morning you will embark on a boat to reach the Uros islands. There are approx. 50. Major characteristic. They are made of reeds. Uros houses also. lacustres, notamment les roseaux qu'ils utilisent pour leurs bateaux, leurs maisons, et dans leur vie quotidienne.
Arrival for lunch in Amantani.
You will walk to the top of the island (Pachatata or Pachamama summit). You will appreciate the great sunset.
Randonnée jusqu'à l'un des deux sommets de l'ile (Pachatata ou Pachamama), lieu ou vous pourrez apprécier des vues extraordinaires et contempler un somptueux coucher de soleil.

Today you will experience also a canoe ride on the Sandoval lake. It is also extremely rich in terms of flora and fauna.
